Im not a doctor but , athletes foot can be spread from one person to another. And the bacteria doesn’t always have to reach your feet , but it has other options like your armpits and groin or what ever. It thrives in hot moist areas. Causes you sweat doesn’t actually smell . It’s bacteria on the skin . Athletes foot/bacteria is the only thing I know that leaves a stench when it’s hot or moist. So possibly that is what’s causing you so much misery. I would speak to my doctor about CLOTRIMAZOLE.
