Tickly feelings anywhere in the body (they are in the skin/lymphatics/GI & blood). Vibrate for mating after they have been threatened with anti-parasitic drugs. Dark areas (looks like bruising)/nests in ankles & lower legs, especially in places of previous injury - they seem to prefer healed areas (sprained ankles, punctured areas, scars). Odd patches of callus (dry skin) on the feet and toes. Tiny warty-looking skin spots appear where they tickle (they stick little tubes out of the skin nests which I can feel sometimes that later develop into these spots. The skin things dry up as I kill them.

I had nests in my feet/ankles, sinuses and tonsillectomy scars. I vomited them up from my stomach, blew them out of my sinuses (also w nasal irrigation) and gargled them out of my throat. Small, very thin red threads about 1/2" (males) to 3/4" (females).

Seem to have lunar cycles (breed between new and full moons) and hatch sometimes every 2 days.
