The First point is utterly nonsense and false. We talk and look into the eyes of a stranger many times in our life and we don't fall in love with them. We make eye to eye connection so that we can pay attention to the person in front of us. I can agree with the second point as i have done it myself and felt it too. The touch of a person while you are down is the best warm feeling of relief you can imagine.
