Good point. I am definitely afraid of bromine; about to buy a new car.. My strategy will be to increase iodine, and all the companions. Plus DE, activated charcoal and other detox remedies if reaction to it. Probably, but it may take a month or two before one recognize reactions. A slow, slippery material that is.
