Hi,
I found out I had low stomach acid after months of terrible bloating and belching and tiredness etc. I believe I had what is sometimes called "Gastric gut" (one kind of Leaky Gut Syndrome) HCL helped a bit but did not cure it. (My Doctor initially prescribed anti biotic and anti acid which made me way sicker) So I decided to find answers for myself.
I have cured this condition by doing a one month bone broth fast, it has worked and my digestive system is all good again. A word of caution however, unfortunately this has caused a condition called Telugen Effluvium which basically means your hair starts falling out from a shock to the system, this can be caused by stress ,childbirth, surgery etc. It is supposed to be temporary.
Maybe there was another way. I suggest Googling" Dr Axe Gastric gut" for more info, and to see if your symptoms are a fit. Good luck!
