Hi Archus,

Thanks so much for your very informative and encouraging reply. In regards to weaning off my meds over the course of a month, I don’t feel confident that I’m stable enough to do that yet. My Depression is very severe to the point of being suicidal and attempting to end my life 5 weeks ago. So needless to say, I’m pretty desperate. I have been feeling better for the past 3 weeks, but still not great.

I’ve looked into natural forms of serotonin such as 5-htp and tryptophan, are these better than AD in your opinion? And could I use one of them to bridge the gap whilst weaning off my meds?
