So I just want to give some background on getting medication in Thailand in case it helps someone in the future. Basically most things that are abused recreationally or tightly controlled in USA like painkillers, anti depressants, codeine, etc. you can get over the counter in countries like Thailand.

I went to a local pharmacy and got 100 pills of Pfizer Doxepin 25mg for $25 USD no questions asked. However, I discovered that for a drug like Imuran the only place to get it is a hospital pharmacy. Immunosuppressants are not that common and a local pharmacy wouldn't stock it and I think it's actually illegal for them. Even Thailand has its limits.

So the way hospital pharmacies work here is that you have to pay to see a doctor in that specific hospital in order to get a prescription to fill at their pharmacy. You can't go to a cheaper clinic somewhere and get a prescription to take in there from some random doctor. What I found out I could do is go straight to the pharmacy in the hospital and ask if they have Imuran and how much it costs. There is a very big difference in price between private hospitals and government hospitals here - even for the exact same medication.

I made an appointment at the hospital that had Imuran the cheapest and saw a doctor and explained my situation. She was hesitant to give the prescription but I explained I've tried everything. She looked up EC on her phone because she never heard of it. She wanted to send me to the dermatologist but I stayed firm that I've seen every kind of doctor and I just wanted a prescription. We did some bloodwork to make sure I was healthy and then I got the Imuran. 1 month supply of 50mg for $60 USD. It might be way cheaper in the states since they import it here I have no idea but it's not a lot of money for me at all so I don't mind. I also had to pay $50 to see the doctor and do the bloodwork.

So now I'm all set. I'll update every week or every 2 weeks. Imuran 50mg with breakfast and Doxepin 25mg before bed. I weigh 155 pounds, I hope the dosages are enough for me but I'm basically acting as my own doctor and don't know what I'm doing but I'm desperate. If I don't see any progress in 1 month I might step up the dosage.

Edit: forgot to mention I will be doing leave alone method and avoiding getting my lips went at all. I will be leaving the crusts alone until they fall off naturally. Luckily here in Asia its socially acceptable to wear a surgeon mask/mouth cover everywhere so that comes in handy avoiding embarrassing situations and I can hide my lips for a few days and still go out when the crusts are really bad. Also its so hot and humid here the crusts are just naturally way less gross then back home where its dry and cold.
