Hi! Greatful for input from someone with a lot of knowledge about the liver cleanse. I started doing the liver cleanse (with epsom salt, olive oil and grapefruit juice) 15 years ago. After the first series of cleanses I have been doing it once a year with less and less "stones" coming out (also due to a healthy lifestyle) and most of the times successfully. The last cleanse, a few days ago, went awry somehow though. It started out with me throwing up the epsom salt. I have a sensitive stomach, and didn´t seem to handle the epsom this time. I decided to go ahead and drink the olive oil with grapefruitjuice anyway and managed to keep it down. Next morning I managed to drink the epsom salt. However no "stones" came out. Normally there would be at least a dozen (2-5 mm in size). And these four days since the cleanse my stool have been quite much lighter in colour than normal. When googling this it says lighter stool can be a sign of the gallbladder being out of balance. I am now supporting the gallbladder and liver by drinking 1 tbs oliveoil + 1 tbs lemonjuice on an emty stomach in the morning. I will take Andrographis + Dandelionroot which supposedly supports the gallbladder and liver. I´d rather not do another cleanse anytime soon...
