This doctor is prescribing corticosteroids. While some brands healed my lips within 3 days, my lips went back to EC lips within 1-2 weeks after I stopped using it. Did he say how long you need to use the creams or did he say they need to be used for for rest of life? I've heard that the effectiveness of steroids wears off if your body gets used to it by taking it every day for longer period of time.
