I had white tongue after contracted a gut infection while serving in military. They docs out there treated me with shitload of Antibiotics . I think the problem started then.
I have been asking gastroenterologists about the white coating. everybody would say it was normal. Chinese acupuncture doctor also said it's ok if it is yellow or dark.

This is incorrect! The tongue should be pink!

I did castor oil cleansing. Once a week at least four times or until you tongue is pink.

Castor oil acts as detergent in the guts, washes the stuff off the walls, soothes the inflammation etc.
