Hmmm..

I'm skeptical.

Believe it'd be a wild guess to say what caused your reaction.

Believe it to be a dubious notion that any particular point or process of the body signifies detoxification, because the body is in large part a detoxifying machine. If it were not so, we would soon drown in our own toxins. Nutritional Science is not back up such a concept as a detox diet or such purification regimens.

Sent it to not seem to have dire consequences, for you, I would simply experiment, going forward.
