Did you ever find out what will help? I have been suffering with the inside of my lips peeling since 2013. I tried a lip biopsy in 2014 and they told me to wear a lip guard! My lips continue to peel where saliva and air stimulate the lips. It started with having a gold dental crown procedure and taking Antibiotics . I have done coffee enema's for two years. Had mercury filling removed. Followed strict diets. Avoiding chemicals, using air filtration, water filtration, and supplements for methylation. Nothing helps! My recent effort is to try pre and probiotics to develop healthy flora. This lip peeling inside of my lips seems worse with any stimulation on the saliva part of the inside of the lips only. Any suggestions are appreciated?
