Here's a good article on plants and candida. I often recommend the use of essential oils along with virgin coconut oil in oil pulling to help address oral thrush-

I haven't found that taking herbs along with the Plan helps to speed along the process, and may in some cases affect beneficial bacteria, but their use with oil pulling seems to help at times.
