It seems you are confused what is written in the bible revelation 2:17 is the church of contstantine this is where all corruption started , what was the manna christ gave?

63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Thus the hidden manna is the hidden word of god not corrupted by the romans , there were peoople in that time who had the real word of god they know his name while the romans where yelling deus vult and killing many
