Revelation 8:4-6 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. 5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. 6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

remember what revelation IS. it is revealing what was previously hidden about jesus christ. who is jesus christ? he is the WORD. so it is revealing hidden things about the words we already have - the bible. in particular, the 24 elders (old testament) and the four "living" (beasts), the gospels.

so

prayers are voices. angels are messengers (voices). thunders are voices ("this is my beloved son..."). and when you see the sound of many waters spoken of , those are voices of multitudes. fire of the alter are voices (how his words burned in our hearts...). with lightnings you have two choices between the son of man appearing and satan falling. there is a huge thread of doubt throughout the scriptures between what is good and what is evil. this duality is shown in the christ/antichrist dichotomy. they are mirror images. trumpets are voices. trumpets were also used in conjunction with voices (shouts of the people) to bring down the walls of jerico.

so its like a giant logic problem. i have NOT begun to solve all of it. but when i hear a solution and check it against what i know, the truth shines like a beacon. a love of the truth is one of the gifts at conversion.

just keep in mind its not new. revelation is not a new thing. it explains and confirms the old things and puts it in proper perspective. im not even sure it needs to be cognitively understood in order for it to do its work inside of us. they dont call it faith for nuthin.
