I suspect your are exactly correct. I have been swigging straight out of the bottle quiet often to rinse my mouth. I think what it shows is the CS isn't the antibacterial miracle it is claimed to be. I know this has been replicated in some lab studies where CS didn't prevent mold and fungus strains from growing in a petri dish. At best it slows them down a bit.

Not saying CS isn't good, but not the panacea often claimed. My flowers love it.
