Loquat, often the truth hurts. I can agree to disagree and I do that from time to time, but sometimes I call it like it is in hopes people can see the truth. Sometimes I think God wants more from us than to agree to disagree. Often I agree to disagree when I don't have the time to point out truths and flaws. God does not like flattery. Sometimes a rebuke is called for. This is not done out of hatred and bitterness as you stated. It is done out of love.
