It is hard to notice because 2-3 days after I peel I look semi "normal".

My lips are definitely swollen. Or inflamed, whichever term you would like to use. I can feel the heat, I can feel the pressure ,I can can see the redness every single day.

After 3-4 months of waiting for my derm. referrals, I only now have gotten a referral for a patch/allergy test. However, that is going to take another 4-6 months. This is where the Canadian health care system is flawed... It may be free, but the waiting list is HUGE. In my area, there is only 1 clinic that does these tests.

All 3 dermatologists I have seen recommend ONLY Vaseline or Aquaphor. Personally, I don't think they help, but I am not the medical professional. Do you have any recommendations?
