Thanks for the response, that brings me a measure of comfort. We both have about 20-30 pounds to lose, so hopefully that is what is happening. My husband will have to stop his fast on Friday or Saturday because he has to go back to work on Monday, physical labor job. I am hoping to go a little longer. My goal in this fast is to get rid of menstrual migraines I have suffered for 24 years. So I feel it might be a good idea to fast for a complete cycle (28-30 days) but I will listen to my body and stop earlier if I need to. I’m sure it will be more difficult once I am on my own.
