Hi all,

I would love some support if anyone has some advice, or even just encouragement that they could give. For those of you who are so inclined to listen, allow me to tell you my story.

I'm 32 years old. In the Spring of 2016, I had some Amalgam fillings placed. I didn't know any better and didn't think anything of it. I was also in excellent shape at the time. Avid runner, hiker, basketball player, volleyball player, and also frequently worked out. A few months after having the fillings placed, I started having bizarre symptoms. I was having a lot of knee pain, as well as crawling sensations, brain fog etc... similar to a lot of the stories you see on here. Despite my love of sports, July 2016 was the last time I've done ANY physical activity. I have been unable to perform physical activity since then, as a result of my knees.

At the time, I didn't make the connection between the fillings and my problems. I was going to the doctor and he would say "it's just inflammation, it'll go away." I had other people who led me down the rabbit hole of thinking it could be Lyme disease. I did a ton of research into that, but long story short, that led me nowhere. After over a year of trial and error, multiple doctor visits resulting in doctor's telling me I was crazy and there's nothing wrong with me, I was ready to give up. Finally, I think "Wait a second... what if it had something to do with that dental work?" So I look into that, and that's when I see the connection between Mercury and my symptoms. I find a holistic dentist and he convinces me that it is definitely the cause of my problems. Within the past 6 months, I've had all of my Amalgams removed and replaced with composites. I had 5 or 6 of them, I can't recall.

The last filling I had replaced was a month ago. A few weeks after that, I started the protocol I was given.

I'd like to lay out this protocol here for you, but I should also mention I'm poor and my health insurance is garbage. So I can't go to the doctor at this point. I'm already so many thousands in the hole between doctor visits and dental work that I simply can't afford any more. The protocol I was given is as follows:

In the morning:
Take IMD (Intestinal metal detox) from Quicksilver scientific.

Take Buffered Ascorbate Powder (a mixture of high levels of Vitamin C, Potassium, Magnesium and Zinc

Take Liposomal Glutathione (just under one teaspoon)

Take 2 capsules of Clear Way Cofactors by Quicksilver scientific

That's the regimen in the morning. The Buffered Ascorbate Powder is taken 3-4 times a day to keep Vitamin C/Mineral levels up.

After lunch I take a good, natural multivitamin/multi mineral formula.

In the evening before bed, I take Liposomal Glutathione again, just under a teaspoon.

This is the protocol I was directly given to follow.

It's been 3 weeks and I don't feel even slightly better. My right knee is ruined. I should add that about a year ago I couldn't take the knee pain and thought it could be a ligament tear. I went to a renowned knee Ortho in my area who said there was inflammation in my MRI but no tears. He prescribed physical therapy which didn't work.

My knee is so swollen (it's been that way for a year) and in constant pain. One of the big tips I always see on sites about detox is to exercise, but I can barely even walk. I'm 32 years old and 2 years ago I was in some of the best shape of my life. Now my life has been turned upside down by something inexplicable!

I'm not sure if this protocol is working, or if it's just making me worse, but I the pain in my body certainly feels worse when
I'm on it. And since I'm so horribly in debt from doctors/dentists and can't afford it any more, I have no way to gauge if any of this is working. I don't know if any of this is even true! I feel like I've read everything on this subject from every corner of the Internet and there is so much conflicting information it's hard to know what's true and what isn't.

I'm at the end of my rope here. I can't go on living like this. What can I do when I've got no money, no health and no support?
