How to Save Hundreds of Billions and Provide Healthcare to Everyone - A Five Point Plan

The U.S. spends more per capita on medical expenses, by far, than any other country and we also are by far the most heavily medicated country.- and yet we rate near the bottom of he top 30 developed countries in measurements of health. That tells us two things: Our medicine costs too much and we rely far too much on mainstream medications fo our health.

We need to:

1. Reform the FDA and give equal funding to natural health studies and trials and put nature on an equal footing with Big Medicine and Big Food.
2. Educate our doctors about natural health and educate everyone about the benefits of nature and the dangers of toxic patented drugs and the dangers of GMOs and toxic food products.
3. Emphasize prevention
4. Teach and encourage people to take charge of their own health, and
5. Have people and our doctors look first to natural whenever possible - the same as mankind has done for thousands of years.

If we did could somehow make such changes, it would completely change our healthcare paradigm, shaking our medical system to its core especially Big Pharma once it had to compete evenly with nature. It would also save us and our country hundreds of billions in healthcare costs and enable everyone to live longer, healthier lives. AND we could afford to provide healthcare for everyone - which I would support under such a system.

But I am under no delusion - such change will be exceedingly difficult. Look no further than the drug company and other medical interests on the donor lists of members of Congress on both sides. Congress is a donor class swamp and is likely to remain so until we impose term limits for Congress and limit access by lobbyists and donations from corporations. Perhaps those should have been parts 6 and 7 of my plan.
