A few years ago a BCC appeared on my face, on the left side near my nose. The dermatologist in Germany told me that the only cure would be surgery. I said I would think about it and in meantime scoured the internet for an alternative cure. I tried VitC, Bicabornate of Sodium and nothing worked. Then I saw an expensive cream from Australia on sale but it costed well above 200US$. I checked the main ingredient and found out to be Aubergine extract mixed with lactic acid to create an exfoliation. I extracted the juice from half an aubergine and then mixed with a little Lactic acid (5% strength). After applying it on the spot, I forgot to remove it and a few hours later when I looked, I saw a hole in the place where the BCC was. I got very worried thinking that I would have to bear that scar forever! Some friends saw it and called me crazy! After 3 weeks when I realized the wound was completely healed, I made my plan to get rid of the scar. I ordered pure TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) powder and mixed it with distilled water to create a 40% strength peeling solution. I applied on the hole and after 5-6 days it had peeled off. The hole had diminished but it was still visible.So again I did another peeling and this time it had almost completely vanished. Several months went by and I enjoyed a BCC-free face while showing off to my friends who initially called me ''Crazy''. I then moved to Brazil where daily I get sunshine and from the 2nd week after my moving, I noticed the BCC coming up again! This time it's growing faster than ever! I recently found out that it creates roots and I might have not removed them properly. So now I am confused! I am still reluctant about having surgery and don't know what to try. I found this page very interesting and am willing to try Lugol. If anyone has any other tip for me, I would very much appreciate it.
