All you have to do is read Albert Pike's book Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. I think you would change your mind very quickly. Innocent people get involved not knowing what the deeper levels of Freemasonry are. I inherited my uncle's books and info and still receive his mail from the organization. I posted one of their letters here recently. He finally got out of Freemasonry by the time they wanted to elevate him to Worshipful Master. Fortunately a christian friend gave him a book to read that exposed all of the background and what he could expect as he advanced forward into the organization. His christian eyes were opened.
