You are misunderstanding. No one wants the temple to be built. We just know it will be built due to the prophecy. Why would a christian want a Jewish temple that the anti-christ will stand in claiming to be god, when we know we are the temple of the Holy Spirit?

All any christian should be excited about is that Jesus will return one day. Not some temple. The temple is strictly desired by Jewish nonbelievers that are waiting for their messiah. Not the christian Messiah.
