Its actualy real simple in scripture peter says the heavens are of old thus the universe and the earth is old . bam solved we already knew the age of the earth from adam and eve in the bible thats 6000 years ? thus we have a contradiction , you need to solve this contradiction to get to the truth.

1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.


So god is in his own universe(heaven) he creates everything from heaven , then he travels to earth ...in a second he will travel billions of light years , that is why you see on the earth perspective his spirit . and that is why the earth is billions year old but the time from adam and eve is 6000 +-
