Loquat, I respect you as a fellow Christian and I believe you do have a true relationship with Christ. Some of the posters here I highly question on this most important issue. I am not anyone's judge of their heart, but there are some things about people, even through posts, that we can judge. The Bible does tell us that we can know them by their fruits. None of us are perfect, but I do get the feeling that we have some deceived false converts among us. I grieve for their souls.

I am not convinced that what you believe regarding end times is true. I am talking the wait and see attitude. What we believe about end times, for the most part, will not effect our Christian walks. We can still fulfill our destinies God has planned for us if we are off on this issue.

Of course, there is a danger in being ignorant of the view that the False Prophet and the Antichrist of Revelation 13 will really appear physically in this world. If that happens, they will deceive many. Many will ignorantly take the mark of the beast and that means their souls will forever be lost. Yes, I was just trying to warn people to be aware of this in case it turns out to be true even though I don't claim to know for sure. I think it is important that people are aware of this view just in case it could be correct. Their souls could be at stake. That is why I used the word "important". I don't feel that my spiritual discernment will be harmed if I am wrong, any more than your spiritual discernment will be harmed if you are the one who turns out to be wrong.

You are a very intelligent man, way beyond my intelligent level. Don't let that hold you back from the things of God.
