Congratulations, I had the last of mine removed in 2005. One important aspect is to protect the kidneys from damage from heavy metals as they are liberated. Increasing liquid intake makes one urinate more frequently, but I believe is a good policy, while ensuring adequate nutrition. Cilantro is documented to liberate mercury from tissues, but this is probably something important to not do too much of at a time. You seem fairly sane, and if you liberate too much stored mercury, it can cause erratic behaviour so I would suggest to proceed slowly and be patient. One extremely healthy thing to do, is to grow and ingest broccoli sprouts
