Hello,
Newbie here.

I'm a 57 year old man, contemplating a complete fast (as in, the old-fashioned sense of this term: fasting till the point of starvation, so as to heal chronic disease)

It has been on my bucket list since first reading an old treatise on the subject in my youth (can't remember author's name, but he is often sited as a pioneer of the subject, and claimed to have been witness to 100s of full-term fasts bringing about complete healing in all sorts of diseases, from cancer of the liver to haliotosis)

My conditions:
1. life-time tinitus (caused by cracker explosion right by my ear, as a boy of 12, recently gotten a lot worse)
2. liver scarring from 35 years of HepC infection (I cleared the virus 12 months ago, and have had 2 normal Liver-Flush tests since)
3. significant scarring of the lungs through a lifetime of intermittent smoking
4. Arthritis throughout my body
5. high-risk category for bowel cancer (and my father died of same 5 years before reaching my current age)
6. life-time of mood swings due to Borderline Personality disorder: I want to make new neural connections and find a new spontaneity in the face of life's challenges; ie: stop acting out of old life-scripts
7. cessation of two major drugs which I've been on for 7 years: Clonazepam and Cymbalta, neither of which I really need, both having been mis-prescribed

My question, for those still reading (pardon the long intro) is the following:
As a young man I did a 13-day water fast; the one thing that really bugged me was the sense I had of having a full bowel.
Can anyone tell me:
How to enter on a long Water Fast with the greatest chance of having several bowel motions in first few weeks, so as to eliminate the waste from last few days eating?

(I'm also going to need lots of support, so I'm hoping to meet an ally, or a fast buddy, as I have no-one in my life in that -admittedly rare, peculiar - state of life.)
