If that means "avoid touching the eye WITH the bottle", it does not mean that you shouldn't use it in the eye, if you do avoid any direct contact maybe...And it's one drop only (before bed).
This type of warnings appear on many eye drops vials anyhow.

(They do advise for cataracts...)
