Another Dave here, I take cinnamon (the regular spice) in a self filled capsule 1 a day right after my first meal. Perhaps you took yours on an empty stomach? ALSO some books etc say acid reflux is really a lack of enough acid in the stomach and reccomend 1 tablespoon of vinegar as a fix, we have tried this a couple of times with mixed success.
