Have you been tested for TPO antibodies? If you have autoimmune thyroiditis you must get your antibodies down before taking high dose Iodine and you will only do that with thyroid hormone. All you are doing is increasing the attack on your thyroid otherwise which will eventually destroy it. Suggest you read "hope for hashimoto's" explains how to do it. It's by Alexander Haskell
