Hi JT,
It's been quite a while since I've been here. I actually continued dosing the Iodine and made some changes regarding the quality of supplements. I actually added ATP-Co factors on days where I high dose Iodide (100mg) and I also added magnesium chloride (something similar to remag), since 4 weeks I also use homemade liposomal vitamin C.
I actually have had a couple of more bloodtests. a few months ago, I had everything measured (from ft4 to ft3, to tsh and so on, literally almost every thyroid test), and ofcourse: the only thing that falls outside those ranges is still my TSH. It was at 7,4 so it dropped. Then I started upping the dose again, where I normally would use 25-50mg of iodoral, I just use 25mg of KI (iodine as potassium iodide)and 3 drops of nascent iodidne (= 1.8mg) daily. On thursday and Friday I use 100mg of KI and 3 drops of nascent iodine. My TSH is as high as never before, it's going up to 12. This is soo draining, I'm a year ahead from where I was before and the TSH is still not where it should be. I don't know what I am doing wrong actually. I had my iron etc also tested (ferritin etc.) and everything was alright. Any recommendations, I know Iodine has it's benefits (and it certainly helped in some areas) but this is soo discouraging that I'm almost about to drop it, because I don't even know how a "normal" person should feel like. I would just love to get rid of these cold hands and feet (even though it's not as bad as it was, it's certainly there) and the fatigue ofcourse.
