Thank you first of all for your insightful reply. I’ve found that my buildup is much thinner now that it’s mostly unnoticeable. I’ve been using bepanthen for the last week or so and found it to be a great moisturiser. As to whether any healing is being done it remains to be seen. My biggest issue is with the inner mucosa like you said. When I talk it turns white, I also have a small circular hole there where skin should be. The saliva from that hole gets onto my top lip and peels it aswell as secretes saliva over the rest of my inner mucosa. I’ve found that moisturise that area tends to make it worse. Did you moisturise it during that time? And finally, did your swelling go because of your use of steroids and how long did it take? Thanks again.
