While it may be true that Christ is greater within us than he that is in the world, does it make any sense to promote a holiday that gives no glory whatsoever to Christ or even goodness, for that matter?
Might as well walk into a witches coven and sit in with the group and chant "greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world", or think we are protected because we wear a large cross around our neck like some sort of charm. Not like we would do that, would we?

Revelation 18:23 The light of a lamp will never shine in you again. The voice of bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again. Your merchants were the world’s important people. By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.
