Protein is what helps heal wounds. My Dr told me to increase my protein intake to 90mg/day. Seems like a lot, but if you drink three 10-oz pplant-based protein drinks per day, you can fill in with protein-rich foods. It worked in less than six weeks to reduce a 4-inch incision on my heel down to 0. PlantFusion plant-based protein powder is what did it. Love the Vanilla flavor the best.
