Thank you White Shark for the good info, a couple of Q's before i go into a recap.

#1 Is the state of highly efficient digestion and weight/fat gain following a fast very long? I'd hope its not years or such to recover from it.

#2 When you say foods made with milk/cheese/butter, does that include milk/cheese/butter? those are certainly big ones to avoid.

As for how things have been going so far cravings are there but no actual hunger pangs. One of the things that does bother me and make me concerned a little is how much i feel my heart beating. Its not like about to explode or anything, but a part of me worries this may be taxing my heart a bit. Does this part go away or get better later on in the fast?

As for number, i admit mine are most certainly off since i didn't think to just weigh myself naked from the beginning. There are some pretty absurd weight drops which i assume are from different weights of clothing. Day 4 has been measured naked and will continue to be my method to get a more accurate read. Also digital scale so may be off a bit *shrug* what can you do?

Day 1 starting lbs: 317.6
Day 2 lbs: 309
Day 3 lbs: 304
Day 4 lbs: 300

Can't say i'm very aware of a difference yet, mostly just dealing with the difficulty of fasting. Should i be concerned about living in a fairly cold environment during this process? I live in Oregon mountains, and its fall so temp drops to the 40's without too much trouble. While i don't mind the cold, not sure if its bad for the fast or not.
