You should know that most people fast by listening to their own body, no medical supervision.
Most doctors know nothing about Water Fasting and are unable to offer support to those who are fasting.
Many of the Water Fast problems reported in this forum, could be prevented or eliminated by a few important practices:
- use clean water enema the first 2-3 days of your water fast, to prevent autointoxication by feces in your colon.
This may be especially important for people who have history of use of Antibiotics or other medications.
If you have never ever used Antibiotics or other medications, and if your digestion is healthy, and your liver is healthy, water enema may not be needed.
- make sure water you drink is as clean as possible, and the Ph of the water is close to 7 (neutral , not too acidic, not too Alkaline Water )
Drinking bad water will definitively shorten the time you will be able to fast and feel good while fasting.
- drink per thirst, and not too much of water. Drinking too much of water may result in you washing out of your system too much of good minerals, and as a result you may encounter unpleasant symptoms during your fast. Drinking too much water will shorten the time you will be able to fast and feel good while fasting.
- do not lift heavy weights, or run uphill, yoga and meditation are better practices when water fasting. Being too much activ will shorten the time you will be able to fast and feel good while fasting.
- do not use any cosmetics or toothpaste during the water fast. You can brush your teeth with clean water or with salty water.
- avoid stress while fasting.
