the more everyone else looks to the future on this, it looks better than ever that it has already happened.  thats a thousand years we didnt spend tring to blow ourselves completely up.  its been 2000 years now, and we are about to.  i dont think people have the right perspective at all.

2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

its pretty clear this is a seven day of creation model.  seven one thousand year periods.

jesus came at the end of the fourth day and he was the light of the world.  the fifth day was the creation of the creatures in the air and the water, both a symbol of the spirit realm.  jesus ruled the fifth day.  the sixthed day is mans, and the number of man - 666
