I have had 3 of my parathyroids removed and the 4th one is malfunctioning. I have to take Sensipar to control my blood calcium level. I am in the "donut hole" and can not afford to refill the medication. Can I take Borax to maintain my calcium level? If not, any suggestions as to how to wean myself off Sensipar without severe problems?
