It sounds like you're on the right track to figuring this out! From reading other people's posts, it seems like not being able to smell it yourself is very common. For me, sometimes I don't notice the odor immediately, but I think I can smell it most of the time. The biggest problem for me was that, when the problem first started, I didn't realize/want to acknowledge that these weird smells were actually coming from me! I was really glad to find out I wasn't the only one with this problem and that many people have found cures to it! It makes sense that this problem is creating anxiety. I don't know if I have full-blown anxiety myself, but I do find myself feeling very embarrassed, paranoid, and just wanting to get away from other people. I try to remind myself that this is a health issue that I'm trying to resolve, so I shouldn't have to feel bad about it! Sometimes using 'mindfulness' techniques- like thinking about labeling the thoughts and feelings I'm having and what I'm doing/experiencing with all of my senses in that moment helps a little. I also think about how (very likely) this problem is just a temporary phase in my life.
