I have had chronic yeast infections and vulvodynia for several years now. After having a non-stop YI for a couple of months I had a new acupuncturist tell me to try Red Rice Yeast as a vaginal suppository. Despite my better judgement, I tried it and since then I have had horrible internal burning. Some of my usual treatments make it worse.
Any recommendations how to bring back the balance I had before? And just out of curiosity has anyone else ever heard of using red rice yeast as a suppository? I can't find any viable information on the internet, so I don't know if this guy just decided since it was good for the stomach I should just put it directly up there...
