Thank you for this post!! I have noticed that my symptoms return when i beef up on probiotics. The way you explained really made sense. I do take probiotics from time to time, they help with heartburn for me. I can't take high doses of them or my sibo symtoms come back. After reading your post i'm realizing that heartburn is a lack digestive enzymes, etc but not a lack of bacteria. Think i will follow your advice and focus on healing my gut.
