I'm so thrilled I've found this forum!

While this is my first MC, I've done many lengthy juice fasts and one Water Fast in the past. I'm basically doing this for a few key reasons: I finally quit smoking and I'm ready to purge all of the toxins that's been kicking around for the last 10 years that I've been a smoker for. I'm also planning on starting a family in about two years and want to be sure that I get as much of a head start as possible in cleaning myself out.

Under my naturopath's supervision, today is day one of my 40-day cleanse. I KNOW it won't be easy (nothing worth doing is), but after seeing all of the support in this forum, I'm grateful that if I run into any problems, there's a wealth of experience here. I'd love to hear from any long-term MC'er with their experiences.
