i dont know why things have to be so all or nothing with either one of you.

josiah had a real experience. he has been guided right out of it by heretics and blasphemers. the gifts of the spirit are for what reason? for edification. for strengthening of ones faith. they are a means to an end. paul makes clear that when that end is met the "gifts" go away. the goal is faith and hope and in particular, love. without love it doesnt matter if you can heal cancer, fart vanderbilt perfume and whistle mozart at the same time. you are nothing and will fade like the vapor you are.

josiahs experience was for josiah. he was robbed of it. and what really escapes most christians is that a single word of christ from the scripture is far more precious and much more of a miracle that what happens to a thousand josiahs. idiots.
