Hi, I have SIBO (diagnosed by the hydrogen breath test) and I started taking Olive Leaf Extract today. I took 1 capsule with lunch.

* I haven't had any die off reactions until now - does that mean that the treatment is not working? The olive leaf is not killing the pathogenic bacteria?

* Does anybody here know if the antimicrobial herbs in general are more effective if taken on an empty stomach? I took the olive leaf extract with food.

What should I do? e.g. take it on an empty stomach, increase the dosage?
