Sorry, but negative allergy test means usually nothing.

Were you tested for IgE or IgG immunoglobulins or both ?

Was it a skin test or a blood test or an oral challenge test or all of those ?

How many IgE or IgG immunoglobulins were you tested for ?


Negative allergy test only means that specific IgE levels or specific IgG levels
were lower than some expected level.



There are IgE / IgG antibodies you were most likely not tested for, and there are many other reasons why you may get false negative readings on many different tests.



Try to google false negative on allergy tests to get a picture on how common it is and how of no value a negative test is.

The only absolute test for allergies is complete water fasting, with no cosmetics and no soaps and no detergents on you or in your closes environment (clothes, shoes etc).




If you would get negative on Water Fasting test, than you could say you do have a real and serious problem.



Negative on absolute Water Fasting would mean you have absolutely no improvement with your lips after 10 or 20 or 30 days of going on water only.
