Here is an another link that confirms my suspicions.

But hopefully when I break my fast I will be returning to this regime that I was on for about 2-3 years. I had a break for the past 2-3 months.

I fast from early evening, till next day, work out (running and weights) 1 hour before sunset, and then eat at sunset until next sunset. AND I mainly try to eat fat and limit my carbs to around 60g per day or like one small serve ONCE PER DAY... not like lots of fruit or rice or breads/grains. This means that my liver stays light and isn't storing volumes of excess water and glycogen - but is rather taking from any excess body fat and bodily debris as well as FULLY burning and utilising the food/fuel it give it without storing fat. I did this for many years I just have taken a break due to a few fasts in a row, and other family commitments. But this is what worked best.

So... this fast is to prime me for that. I will do an enema tomorrow, and then do a light jog and some medium weights - but nothing else on this fast... I just want to initially clean out the glycogen and then fast in a resting state the remainder of the time. I would like to do more...

But I am keeping in mind that the first 5KG is "water/glycogen"weight and will rapidly return... so I will need to fast 5kg more than I am prepared to in compensation for the rapid water weight return.

I am also prepping with adding lots of fat fat and more fat on the shopping list, and if I need to plants to break the fast I am choosing LOW CARB like lettuce, cucumber, celery, broccoli, and fruits like grapefruit, kiwi fruit.... not as yummy as all the other usual stuff but at least I am breaking the cycle of carb cravings.

My baby sis (15) is on day one of a candida protocol so I said when I finish fasting I will jump onto her diet with her just for moral support. Which is basically no simple carbs at all. I have done that and I don't have candida but figured its the type of foods that I need anyway.

In terms of emotional release longer fasts are better but you can also just learn to let go of the emotional burdens you are carrying... Its hard and not easy, but with time and practice. Try writing to yourself. I find it frames my perspective of things and I become focused and proactive.

supposed to be doing an enema and exercise today, but I just resting and tomorrow I will do that

Keep in touch with your fast!!!
just about my whole household are along with you for the ride in some form or fashion! lol
