Hello PH!!!

Day 3 is almost over!

No, at the time I do not have anyone that I'm depending on in case things go haywire. I never tell anyone I'm fasting because they overreact and it causes me to have panic attacks. Others emotions effect me heavily.

I am wondering if my dry fast is progressing because I've read so many dry fasting accounts online about "internal fever." It says that is the signal that one's body is burning off pathogens and excess fat. I do not feel hot and have not experienced any internal fever or crisis of acidosis. Does that mean my body is not adapting or working properly through the fast?

Also, after my long Water Fast my practitioner suspected me of protein deficency. You know anything about that and why I could suffer from that? After the WF I had clear air bubbles all over my body once I start refeeding it was awful. How do I correct that or prevent it after this fast?

Lastly, I believe I have a cashew addiction. Everything I have overeaten in the past few weeks had nuts in it. Disgusting amounts of peanut butter, paydays, icecream & peanut butter mixed together with wafers on top, snickers, cashews. I can give up Sugar and everything else. But the thought of giving up cashews is awful. I don't understand why this happened to me because before my Water Fast I never ate any of these things and I HATED peanut butter with a passion. Many days I would eat nothing but 3/4 to 1 lb of raw cashews or cashews with no salt and nothing else. Cashews don't even taste like anything! It's as if my body is calling for them. Do you think this may have something to do with protein?

I'm curious...
