I have a question!

I am wondering how many of you suffering from peeling lips/EC have actually attempted to find out if your problem is diet related ?

When it comes to eczema, Seborrheic Dermatitis and psoriasis, 3 syndromes that share vary many similarities with EC, some estimates are that in up to 80% of people suffering from those skin symptoms diet or cosmetics are a common trigger, gluten, milk and nuts being overrepresented.

When we read this forum, we see that GLUTEN is the single most common trigger for those who learned how to manage EC, in other words live life free from the symptoms of EC.

That is a strong link to the other 3 skin disorders.

SO, here is the question I am wondering.

How many of you attempted to live 7 or 10 or 14 days free from all food, all toothpaste and all cosmetics ?

In other words, how many of you attempted "Water Fasting".

Apparently, great majority of people suffering from Eczema, Psoriasis and Seb-Derm and Acne and many other chronic problems, majority becomes symptom free after 7-14 days of water fasting, and majority experiences improvement in symptoms after the initial 3-4 days of water fasting.

That means that Water Fasting could be the absolute test for finding out if your own EC is triggered by something you are doing several times a day (food, soaps, cosmetics).

??????

SO, if you have tried it, can you share with us your results ?

If you haven't tried it, what is the main reason for not trying it, other than fear of hunger ?

Are you afraid it is too difficult ?

Or you don't believe your EC has anything to do with food/cosmetics ?

Or you think it is inconvenient for you to fast due to your job/school?
