No medical test is 100% accurate. There are both false positives and false negatives.

When one test is positive and the next is negative, you are suppose to take the third test and go by the third test.

But even third test can be false, just statistically, chances of having 2 out of 3 tests false is very unlikely, just not 100% impossible.

To eliminate that chance, the fourth test can be taken ... and so on.
